La Villa de la Croix is an elegant 19th-century house with a heated outdoor swimming pool, which we have designed as a haven of relaxation and indulgence in the heart of the Aube region, near Troyes. We are committed to making you feel at home in a peaceful setting in the village of Villechétif. Ideally located just 4 minutes from the A26 motorway and 10 minutes from the historic city centre of Troyes, our guest house is the perfect starting point for exploring Champagne, its lakes and vineyards.
Completely renovated, la Villa de la Croix offers a warm atmosphere combining old-world charm and refined décor. We welcome you to one of our 5 spacious guest rooms or our charming self-catering cottage, all of which are air-conditioned. Between 2023 and 2025, we have redesigned each accommodation to take you on a journey as soon as you arrive. As travel enthusiasts, we have designed our rooms as stopovers to our favourite destinations : Corsica, Reunion Island, London, Martinique, Brittany and Bora Bora.
Every morning, we offer gourmet homemade breakfasts, and our table d’hôte, prepared using local and seasonal produce, reflects our passion for cooking and the pleasure of entertaining.
For your convenience, secure parking and two charging stations for electric vehicles are available, so you can enjoy your stay with complete peace of mind.
La Villa de la Croix was born from a simple dream : to create, together, a welcoming place where guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.
We are Anne-Lise and Philippe.
After busy careers, we decided to change our lives and create a guest house that reflected who we are. In 2021, we left everything behind to embark on this adventure together and open la Villa de la Croix, guided by a desire to welcome, share and bring joy.
Today, we continue to develop la Villa with the same passion, paying attention to every detail and taking the time to welcome you. La Villa de la Croix is our home, and we are happy to share it with you.

A gourmet menu (served as in a restaurant) including a starter, a main course, cheese a dessert and a coffee.

Cooking classes at la villa
Passionate about cooking, Anne-Lise will be happy to share the secrets of her recipes with you through cooking classes that she offers from Septemberr to June. The classes last between 2 and 3 hours and offer a variety of savory and sweet themes.
The icing on the cake is that you will leave with the recipe(s) you cooked or enjoy them onsite !

Because we would have loved to have benefited from this training when we started our business, and also because we love to transmit, we created the Villa de la Croix Academy. During 3 days, you will be immersed in our daily life and understand how this project was born.
We want this experience sharing to be as rich as possible for you and will therefore make you benefit from our learning in all the fields necessary to the creation of a guest house: commercial, marketing, financial, logistic and operational.
Yes, la Villa de la Croix provides its guests with free closed and sheltered parking within the property.
Does la Villa de la Croix accept pets ?
To ensure the comfort of all guests, pets are unfortunately not accepted in the guest rooms. However, we accept cats and dogs with pleasure in our cottage.
Is smoking permitted in the guesthouse ?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the villa, guest rooms and cottage. However, ashtrays are available on the terraces.
What are the payment terms ?
50% of the total cost of the stay must be paid at the time of booking by valid credit card. The remaining 50% must be paid on the day of departure by valid credit card, bank transfer or cash. Any extras must be paid for on site at the time of departure.
What are the cancellation terms ?
Your credit card will be charged in the event of a no-show or late cancellation under the following conditions :
If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before arrival, no fees will be charged and we will refund the 50% paid at the time of booking.
If the cancellation is made between 2 and 29 days before arrival, we will retain the 50% paid at the time of booking if we are unable to re-let the room on the same date. However, if we are able to re-let the room, we will refund the 50%.
If the cancellation is made less than 2 days before arrival or in the event of a no-show, we will retain the 50% paid and charge you for the entire stay.
