Troyes historic center
Between Gothic and Renaissance, the heart of Troyes, so characteristically shaped like a Champagne cork, still resonates from the days when the city was the capital of the Counts of Champagne. To visit Troyes is to plunge back into medieval history, to relive the colorful atmosphere and spicy smells of the Great Champagne Fairs.
Explore Troyes’ nine districts and discover an exceptional heritage of colorful half-timbered houses, 16th-century mansions, narrow streets, inner courtyards and sumptuous churches.
Champagne
As a Champagne producer, Aube opens the doors to its prestigious vineyards: 7,500 hectares of noble grape varieties that make up 22% of the Champagne appellation area. Anne-Lise, a winegrower’s daughter, will be happy to advise you on Champagne tastings with passionate winegrowers, as well as organizing more unusual days, such as discovering the grape harvest when it’s time.
The lakes of the Forêt d’Orient
The Parc Naturel Régional de la Forêt d’Orient offers 20,000 ha of forest and 5,000 ha of water on 3 lakes. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to water sports activities (sailing, paddling, pedal-boating, swimming, fishing…) just 15 minutes from Villa de la Croix.
Bikes are available free of charge to take you to the lakes for a day of relaxation and sport. And we can prepare delicious picnic baskets for you!

Nigloland
This theme park, voted 3rd best in Europe, will delight young and old alike. Located just 35 minutes from Villa de la Croix, it’s the perfect place to spend a great day out with the whole family. Set in an exceptional green setting, it offers 39 attractions and shows for young and old, as well as eight themed restaurants.
